EXTENSION ACTIVITIES

Extension activities of our college are integrated with our academic curriculum for which 2 credits are awarded. The college promotes network with neighbourhood communities through organizing awareness programmes on HIV, AIDS, Insurance, Small Savings, Health and Hygiene, Human Rights, Dowry harassment, Women’s health etc. Adoption of nearby villages, formation of Self Help Groups, Imparting training for self – employment, assisting the villages to avail loan from Nationalized banks for cattle breeding, establishing 2 computer centers to two villages for total computer literacy, training the village women to develop their skill on embroidering, sewing, juice making, papadam making are some of the significant extension activities of our college.

Mobile library and cyber school on wheels allow the villagers and the school children to make use of our college computers. Students from the nearby adopted villages are permitted to visit the college laboratories.
