Introduction:
The yadava college hostel is run for the benefit of the students who have come to Yadava College to pursue their higher education. It is administered by the warden, the deputy warden and a team of young and energetic sub wardens, the administration solicits whole hearted cooperation from the student inmates, parents and guardians for the smooth functioning of the hostel.

Only after the admission into the college, a student is eligible to seek admission into the hostel. The student who intends to join the hostel has to bring his/her parents or guardian. The deputy warden informs them about the rules and regulation that are to be following in the hostel. Strict discipline is maintained at all costs for the effective functioning of the hostel.

Accommodation:
Hostilities are to stay in the rooms allotted by the deputy warden. The rooms allotted are for personal use, study, prayer and rest. Other are not to be entertained in the rooms at any time. The hostilities are not to change their allotted rooms at their will prior permission must definitely be got from the deputy warden for the change of room.

Hostilities are not permitted to use electronic items other than those provided by the college. Powerful bulb, fan, mobile phones, tape recorders, water heaters, iron boxes are strictly prohibited. If an inmate is found to possess any of the prohibited item, it will summarily be confiscated and the inmate will be given suitable punishment.

Besides being responsible for the safety of their personal belonging, the inmates are expected to ensure the safety and clean liners of the entire hostel premises.

Mess:
A member of the hostel invariably is a member of the hostel mess. The mess is looked after with due care by the deputy warden and the sub warden. A mess committee comprising of the inmates is constituted to act as a bridge between the administrators and other inmates.

A rich, hygienic food is being offered to the students at an affordable rate. The mess runs under the dividing system.

Yadava college possesses two massive hostels, one for the boys and the other for girls. There are inmates in ------------- inmates in totals----------------- in men’s hostel and ----------------in women’s hostel. The hostel men’s is run the benefit of the inmates.

There are two kinds of mess: vegetarian and non vegetarian. The menue for each men’s is prepared by the committee consisting of the deputy warden, sub warden and members of the mess committee. All efforts are sincerely made to given a balanced food. As the mess provides good, quality food, the inmates are not to entertain supply of food from any individual or institution inside the hostel premises.

Hostilities are not to enter kitchen. They are to treat the hostel workers with respect and kindness. Mess fee reduction may be claimed when an inmates goes on leave from the hostel for more than----- days. An inmate should not leave the hostel without prior permission from the deputy warden. As for as girls students are concerned, their parents must come and take home their wards and leave them in the hostel in return.

Discipline:
The inmates are to strictly follow the rules and regulations of the college and hostel. silence must be maintained during study hours. At other times, the inmates must move inside the hostel premises in a dignified manner. If a students is suspended from the college for any reason, he automatically stands suspended from the hostel also.

Ragging is strictly for bidden and is a punishable crime. Any one indulging in ragging will summarily be dismissed from the hostel and the matter reported to the college disciplinary committee for further action.

All kinds of intoxicants and drugs are totally prohibited in the hostel. Smoking and drinking are punishable offence.
Hostel office:
The hostel office is opened from 9am to 5pm. On all days except Saturdays and Sundays.
Only the inmates are allowed inside the hostel premises.

Hostel Day:
Hostel day is celebrated during the month of march every year with great gaiety. Students perform cultural events and the hostels workers honored for their selfless sacrifice on that day.

The hostel is a convenient place for study. The administration strives to provide an atmosphere for a genuine growth. The administration is striving hand and doing its might for the well being of the inmates.
