PARTICIPATORY PROGRAMME

The Department of Botany in collaboration with Alagappa University is conducting M Sc Botany course for the distance education students of Alagappa University. Tissue culture and Biotechnology are the papers for specialization. 40 students are pursuing in First and 40 in the Second year. Most of the students are school teachers and to its credit, Sasikala, a present Second year student, has stood State First in the TRB exams conducted by the Government of Tamil Nadu.

CPOP PROGRAMME

Yadava College conducts Centre for Participatory and Online Programme for MBA in collaboration with Bharathiar University, Coimbatore. It is a part time programme started in 2008-09. There are 20 students studying in the Second year and 23 students studying in the First year. The classes are conducted during weekends. The members of the faculty include senior professors from various colleges. The highlight of the programme is that it is considered on par with the regular programme.
