DEPARTMENT OF PHYSICAL EDUCATION

Yadava College Volley ball team won the Madurai Kamaraj University ‘A’ zone championship for the sixteenth time. Again it has won the Madurai Kamaraj University volley Ball championship beating ANJA college, Sivakasi, G.T.N. college, Dindigul and in the finals, Madura college, Madurai and retained both the Kaleeswari College Trophy and Muthaiah Ambalam Trophy.

Four of our college volley ball players, A.Retheesh II B.Sc. (Zoo), A.A. Jishad I B.A. (His.),P.R. Siraj I B.A. (His) and B. Jegadeesh  I B.A. (His) were selected to represent M.K.Univeristy in the inter university volley ball championship held at Kannur University, Kerala. 

Our college Kho-Kho team won the Madurai Kamaraj University Kho-Kho ‘A’ Zone championship for the second time.

 
Jaisingh, II Year B.Com.(SF) emerged as the weight lifting champion in the Madurai Kamaraj University weight lifting championship for the third time in succession.

P. Palanikumar II B.A. (Tam), representing M.K.University participated in the South Zone inter university Kabaddi tournament held at Kuvempu University

A. Ganesamoorthy of III B.Com., and K.T. Sathish of II B.Sc. Software have represented the university in the inter university cricket tournaments.

Health Club

To enhance the physical fitness of the students we have a health club and hundreds of our students are using the equipments. We have a six stationed multi gym and one vibrator along with other equipments.
